Rs 10 lakh stolen from car in Amritsar


Amritsar: Unidentified miscreants took away Rs 10 lakh from a car parked outside Beera Chicken on Majitha Road on Monday evening. The victims, Varinder Chhabra and Harinder Chhabra, are residents of Jeera. In their commplaint to the police, they said they were dealer of a pesticides company and they had been delivering their products in the region. They were in the city today to collect money from their customers. After completing the work, they visited Beera Chicken leaving their cash bag in the car. The Civil Lines police have registered a case under Section 380 of the IPC against them. TNS
