The Jandiala police have booked two persons for abducting a minor girl. The girl is said to have eloped with a boy, who allegedly promised to marry her.
The accused have been identified as Sahib Singh, a resident of Khadoor Sahib, and his sister Gurjit Kaur.
No arrest has been made so far. The victim’s mother, a resident of Khadoor Sahib, Patti Bassi Ki, Tarn Taran, complained to the police that her daughter along with 10-year-old brother Robin had left for Saint Fransis Convent School in Jandiala in school bus.
