Man fined as dengue larva found at home

Amritsar, May 27

A joint team of the Municipal Corporation and the Health Department has imposed a fine of Rs 500 on a local resident after dengue larva was detected from home residence during an inspection in the Kennedy avenue area here yesterday.
District epidemiologist Dr Madan Mohan said the residents were responsible if the dengue larva was detected from their premises.  He said the challan had been issued to Hanuman Singh after the dengue larva was detected from a flower pot in his building. — TNS
