Amritsar, June 12
Sahilpreet Singh Thind, a Class XII pass-out from Spring Dale Senior School, has made the institution proud by clearing JEE (Advanced). He has secured All-India rank 1,169 in the examination.
Three other students from the school — Sehajveer Singh Sehaj Deep Arora and Vibhor Sharda — have cleared the examination.
Rajiv Kumar Sharma, principal of Spring Dale Senior School, said the institution was proud of the achievements of these four students.
Dr Kirat Sandhu Cheema, director of the school, and Sahiljit Singh Sandhu, president, Spring Dale Educational Society, congratulated the four students on their success.
“We wish them good luck for their admission to IIT,” they said.
Three students from Aadyaa Institute also secured good ranks in the examination.
Mandeep Singh secured 4,431 rank (731 under the OBC quota), Robindeep Singh secured 12,120 rank and Anurag Goenka secured 14,611 rank.
Sidana International School celebrated as its two students — Chintan Puri and Sahil Aggarwal — are in the merit list.
The management said, “From the student’s point of view, success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.”
The management and staff congratulated the students and gave them blessings for their future.
