The Amritsar rural police have arrested Ghaniya Lal and Chand Singh of Khehra kalan village in Gurdaspur for allegedly possessing an illegal weapon. Sub-Inspector Bikramjit Singh said a police team intercepted a white Verna car and found a.32 bore pistol with ‘Made in England’ embossed over it. Besides, five bullets were also seized from Ghaniya. He could not produce any document regarding the weapon. Therefore a case was registered against them.
