GNDU reschedules admission dates in Amritsar

Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) has released rescheduled the admission for its affiliated colleges and associate institutes under the capacity enhancement programme for undergraduate students for the year 2017-18.
The admission dates have been released online for first, third, fifth, seventh and ninth semester students.
Prof Hardip Singh, in-charge, Examinations, said, “The normal date for affiliated regular colleges for the admission is August 25. The last date of admission with late fee of Rs 100 along with the approval of the principal is August 1. Colleges can deposit the fee by August 4. The last date with late fee of Rs 200 and approval of the Dean (Academic Affairs) is August 5. Colleges can deposit the fee by August 8. The last date of admission with the late fee of Rs1,000 and with the approval of the Vice-Chancellor is August 11 and colleges will deposit the fee by August 16. August 17 is the last date for admission with the late fee of Rs 5,000 along with approval of the Syndicate. Colleges have to deposit the fee by August 23.”
He said further information could be received from the office of the Registrar, in-charge Examinations and on the website — www.gndu.ac.in — of the university.
Similarly for associate institutes, the normal date for admission is August 3 and colleges can deposit the fee by August 7. August 8 is the last date for the admission with the late fee of Rs 50,000, along with the approval of the co-coordinator admissions and colleges will have to deposit the fee by August 16.
Similarly, August 17 is the last date for admission with the late fee of Rs 100 along with the approval of the Dean (Academic Affairs) and colleges have to deposit the fee by August 23. With the late fee of Rs 500 along with the approval of the Vice-Chancellor, the last date of admission is August 24 and colleges have to deposit the fee by August 28. — TNS
