GNDU, NIPER sign MoU for research in drugs

The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) has signed an MoU with National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Mohali.

The objective of the MoU is to join hands for research in development of new drugs and update students on latest developments in field of pharmaceutical sciences.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Prof Jaspal Singh Sandhu, Vice-Chancellor, Prof Kamaljit Singh, dean academic affairs, Prof KS Kahlon, registrar, Prof Narpinder Singh, director research, Prof SS Chimni, professor-in charge, public relations, and other senior faculty members of GNDU and NIPER.

Both the institutes agreed to develop synergetic collaboration and academic programmes in the area of pharmaceutical sciences. Besides, institutes agreed to develop research programmes for funding by national and international agencies.
