City lad Abhishek Sharma is all set for the one-day series against the host England, commencing from August 7. The team India Under-19 will be challenging England in the five-day one-day international series, concluding on August 16. He has been guided well by his coaches under the Amritsar Games Association and the Punjab Cricket Academy. He has been playing cricket from the age of six or seven.”
Abhishek had trained well on the nets throughout the day for his international tour. “He has been extremely disciplined, worked hard under the guidance of the coaches here. He has devoted maximum time on the field, said his father. Abhishek, the left-hander, said, “I am totally focused on the game. This is an opportunity to prove myself. I will give my best in this event. I will try to utilise this chance.”
