Bikers collide with car, 3 injured

Two boys on separate bikes were injured after they collided with a car near the Police Lines late yesterday evening. One of them got his leg fractured while the other escaped with minor injuries. The car driver too sustained minor injuries. Rakesh Kumar, in charge of the Lawrence Road police post, said no one came to lodge his complaint so far. He said both parties had been called to the police station for investigation.
Shray Khanna with a fractured leg has been admitted to a private hospital. The other biker has been identified as Parath. The youth, who was driving the car, is Inderpal Singh. All three vehicles were damaged in the mishap.
The police said the bikers were riding very fast so they couldn’t control their vehicles when they spotted a car coming from the opposite side all of a sudden near the Police Lines.
Rakesh Kumar said the matter was under investigation and exact reason behind the accident was yet to be ascertained.
