Getting his first break with popular show ‘Khwabon Ki Zameen Par’, city based actor Manik Ahuja steeped under the spotlight with a lot of positivity. With a senior actor like Anupam Kher at the helm, the show went on to become popular among the audience for its innovative story. Yet, once the gig ended, Ahuja says he found himself still learning.
“The process never stops for an actor. The show gave me the right exposure as I pursued my acting course also from Anupam’s academy,” he says. Visiting his hometown, Amritsar, after almost one year, Manik says that he feels homesick often. “Living in Mumbai is totally different from the life here. Not just the pace of life, but everything about it, the way things gets done, the food.”
Finding his interest in acting while studying at Delhi University, he was preparing for studies abroad when he decided to get his creative side best of him. “I did a show on a youtube channel and later pursued further,” he says.
