105 take part in hiking camp

Amritsar, July 25

As many as 105 students of 11 affiliated colleges participated in a hiking tracking camp organised at the students’ holiday home, Dalhousie. This camp was hosted by the Department of Youth Welfare of Guru Nanak Dev University.
Raj Kumar of SSMC, Dinanagar, was adjudged the best camper while Sabdil Singh of APJ College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar, stood the second best camper and Bikramjit Singh from GNDUC Verka, Mandeep Singh of GNCUC, Jalandhar, and Harkamalpreet Singh of SGADC, Khadoor Sahib, stood third jointly.
During the camp, students visited Panchkula, Kala Top, Dyan Kund, Khajjiar and Dalhousie. — TNS
